BoW Personal Data Policy


Bread on Wine (“BoW”) is the data controller for the processing that will be done on your personal data in association with your booking and is thereby liable for ensuring all personal data are processed in a correct way and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

This personal data policy describes how BoW processes your Personal Data and is in place to enable you to feel secure that BoW will process your data in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation.

Here, personal data means all types of information that directly or indirectly, can be traced to a living person. Within the parameters of BoW’s activities, personal data can arise that concerns e.g. first and family name, phone numbers, address, postcode, email address etc., (“Personal Data”).

How do we obtain your personal data?

Your personal data are provided by you when you make a booking request.

Who else can access your personal data? 

As data controller, we can commission e.g. IT suppliers and distribution companies to process data. Such processing will not be done for any purpose other than that stated. Such a supplier can have part of their business operations in countries outside the EU/EEA (a so-called ThirdCountry). Data will only be transferred to such countries that, according to the EU Commission, provide an adequate level of security or that the supplier has a legally binding and enforceable instrument that guarantees the protection of data.

Legal grounds:

Such processing is necessary for us to fulfil our contractual obligations to you.
Automated decision-making:
This processing does not entail decisions being made on the basis of automated processing of personal data.

Your right to object to processing: 

The processing of your personal data is necessary for you to be able to make a booking request. If you wish to object to this type of processing, unfortunately, you cannot make a booking.

Storage period: 

Personal data will be saved until we no longer need your contact details or until you inform us that you no longer wish to have your contact details stored with us or to be contacted by us.


You have the right to:
• request information on what personal data we process about you and you can request a copy of such (extract from the register);
• have incorrect personal data corrected and in certain cases, you can ask us to delete your personal data;
• object to certain personal data about you being processed and request that the processing of your personal data be limited;
• have the personal data you have submitted to us transferred to another data controller (right to data portability), and
if you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data, you can submit a complaint to the Swedish Data Protection Authority, which is the supervisory authority.
You can, at any time, via the contact details published below, obtain, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. Please note that if you request we restrict the processing of, or delete your personal data, we will not be able to provide the Service to you.


We have taken appropriate technological and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, amendment and destruction. To ensure Personal Data are processed in a secure and confidential way, we use e.g. encryption and IT solutions that are firewall and password protected against unauthorised access.
